Creating this pro-bono logo for the Women’s March is why we show up every day.
We are always striving to design for good… To help bring good ideas/movements/things into the world, or help them be heard. To be a small but visible part of a movement we believe in, for our own communities and values, brings us meaning and joy by the truckload.
Design can’t change the world on its own, but it can be a crucial part of movements for change.
The Women’s March already had a beautiful iconic look, designed by Big Monocle. The organizers were considering a different approach and reached out to us to create a style guide to help Women’s March chapters use the new materials. We encouraged their team to consider a treatment that maintained their iconic look and palette. Brand recognition and consistency is an incredibly powerful tool, that was already serving them well. They were please with our solution and it’s very exciting to see these materials get rolled out for t-shirts, posters, buttons and signs.
